1993年毕业于北京师范大学获得理学学士与硕士学位;
1996年毕业于北京师范大学获得理学硕士学位;
1999年毕业于吉林大学理论化学研究所获得理学博士学位。
1999~2001年于清华大学高等研究院从事博士后研究;
2001~2003年任教于北京科技大学
2003.6~ 任教于西南大学化学化工学院
从事教育工作25年。在高等学校里讲授过本科生的物理化学、结构化学与统计热力学等课程;讲授过研究生的量子化学与群论课程。

从事理论与计算化学研究工作,研究方向包括:(1) 非共价作用的理论研究,包括氢键、双氢键、半键、磷键、硫键与卤键等;(2) 惰性气体化合物的结构与成键的理论研究。
