19849月至19886月,西南师范大学化学系,获理学学士学位;19949月至19976月,重庆大学化学化工学院,获物理化学硕士学位;19979月至20006月,重庆大学材料科学与工程学院,获材料学博士学位;200010月至200210月,福州大学化学博士后流动站;20068月至20077月,韩国科学技术院(Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology)化学系博士后。19881997年,任西南师范大学自然科学学报编辑部,编辑;20032005年,任西南师范大学化学化工学院教授;20052011年,西南大学化学化工学院,教授,博士生导师,院长助理;2011.112016.9,西南大学化学化工学院副院长。2016.92017.5,西南大学研究生院副院长,2017.5至今,化学化工学院院长。

从事新型纳米材料的制备及其在传感与催化中的应用研究。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目,国家自然科学基金委员会(NSFC)与韩国科学与工程基金会(KOSEF)国际合作研究项目,重庆市自然科学基金重点项目,重庆市高等学校优秀人才支持计划项目,重庆市自然科学基金等多项课题。在Adv. Funct. Mater., Nano Energy, Mater. Horiz., Appl. Catal. B-Environ., Small, NPG Asia Mater., J. Mater. Chem. A, Anal. Chem., Chem. Commum., Biosens. Bioelectron., Nanoscale, J. Hazard. Mater.等国内外学术刊物上发表SCI收录论文300余篇,h-index 48
